Google Shopping Feed Generator

Turn a product CSV into a Google Shopping XML feed ready for Merchant Center

  • Free
  • No signup needed
  • Runs in your browser

Generate your Google Shopping feed

Paste or upload your product list and get a Merchant Center ready XML feed. Prices, availability and attribute names are cleaned up for you.

Runs in your browser. Your product data is never uploaded.

The first row holds the column names. Common names such as url, image, ean or product_id are recognised.

Added to prices that have no currency, for example 29.90 becomes 29.90 USD.

What this tool delivers

A Google Shopping feed is a file that lists every product with the attributes Merchant Center needs. This generator reads your product list, tidies the values Google is strict about, such as the price format and the wording of availability, and writes an RSS 2.0 feed with the g: attributes. It also shows which products are missing a required attribute before you upload anything.

  • CSV, TSV or XML input
  • Price and availability cleanup
  • Required-field check for every product
  • Download feed.xml

How it works

  1. 1

    Add your product list

Paste or upload a CSV, TSV or XML file. The first row holds the column names, and names such as url, image, ean and product_id are recognised.

  2. 2

    Set the basics

Add your store name and URL, and the currency to add to any price that has none.

  3. 3

    Review and download

Fix anything on the problem list in your source data, then download feed.xml and upload it in Merchant Center.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my product data uploaded anywhere?

No. The feed is built in your browser, so your product data never leaves your device.

Which columns do I need?

Google requires id, title, description, link, image_link, availability, price and brand for most products. The CSV template button gives you a file with those columns and an example row.

How do I get the feed into Merchant Center?

In Merchant Center open Products, then Feeds, create a feed and upload the file, or host it at a public URL that Google fetches on a schedule.

What does the generator change in my data?

It writes prices as an amount and a currency code such as 29.90 USD, maps availability wording to Google's values such as in_stock, and escapes special characters. It never invents values: missing fields are flagged, not filled in.

Does it check images and landing pages?

It checks that links are well formed https URLs but cannot open them. Run the result through the Google Shopping Feed Audit for the full set of data checks, and watch Merchant Center Diagnostics for policy issues.

Can it handle a large catalog?

It processes up to 50,000 products in the browser. For a larger catalog that changes every day, generate the feed from a PIM so it updates itself.
